I have been drawing this for sometime now, I’ve drawn it on A3 paper using Faber Castell pens. I am happy with how it has turned out but i may decide at a later date to add more tones or details in the lighter areas to try and give it more depth.

You may have some fancy altruistic reasons for becoming a police officer. Maybe you have always wanted to be one? Maybe you need the structure of the regulations and a clear chain of command.
By now though, yeah, it was inevitable. You are shell-shocked. Those bright fancy plans of becoming a hero are long since dashed.Suggestions of positive coping for sufferers from PTSD include avoiding a state of hypervigilance and resisting the impulse to be a workaholic. I know they give you tons of support at the department, helping you to rationalize away heinous acts carried out in the line of duty or under orders from the higher ups.You are past the point of epiphany, or self discovery. You are more selective of your friends. Do they really have your best interests at heart? Do you respect the people you find yourself among through the course of a day?Is the job making you even more fearful than the fearfulness that drove you to it? Are you afraid to live in the town where you are a cop?

OPD traps and gasses marchers

The local media has been spreading police misinformation about the arrests this weekend. A large portion of the arrests were made outside the YMCA where the police kettled marchers on Brooadway and gassed them without allowing egress. This is a direct violation of the stated policies of the OPD. It’s a police tactic that was also used on the Brooklyn Bridge. Local media reported that protesters were attempting to occupy the Y. In reality, the marchers who entered the Y were escaping the tear gas.
